Unlittering the oceans and beaches:

Slow (fish-friendly) trawling EPS from ocean trash gyres by kites may be possibly the only practical remediation.  [E.g. Great Pacific Garbage Patch ]

Unlittering remote locations by kite (much EPS):  "Unlittering" coined by my friend Amazin' Walter, the sandcastle king, Padre Island, TX, where he helped me do AWE in January. Used kites to unlitter at Long Beach, WA in '08.

Floating Neutrinos use EPS to cross oceans. Have added kites to these scrap-raft collectives.  Ilwaco, WA is home of Pacific Neutrinos branch, still active.
Fishing with off-water-surface launchable EPS-floating-flying kites:  
When fish is hooked, the reeling in launches the kite, if the kite was not already flying.
Rafting-life energy-kite systems based on floatable foam kites that are launchable off the water's surface following downings may solve electrical needs onboard the raft.
